Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy is a Canadian singer and actress. She is best known for her roles as Claire Kincaid, a US prosecutor, on Law & Order for three seasons. Crossing Jordan was six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh, the main character in Crossing Jordan, lasted six seasons. She has also been acting in movies like RoboCop 3 or Most Wanted and independent films like Chutney Popcorn, which she co-directed. Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy her father was an executive in sales and marketing. It required frequent travel which led to many family relocations. Maxine the secretary mother of Maxine was the last to leave the family in 1982. Eleanor, Eleanor's paternal grandmother, looked after her daughter, who lived in Kitchener. John Paul Hennessy Jr. is her younger brother. Jacqueline is her identical twin sister. She is a Canadian magazine writer and host. Hennessy is of Irish, French, Swedish and Italian heritage from her father's side and most Ukrainian Roma, as well as Austrian, ancestry on her mother's side. She attended Stanley Park Senior Public School and was a graduate of Grand River Collegiate Institute in Kitchener, Ontario and busked in the Toronto subway. Hennessy and her sister made their acting debut as twin call girls in 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's actress, says she was nominated for Dana Scully, The X-Files role. She was also in the 1988 film Dead Ringers as twin call girls. Dick Wolf signed Hennessy in 1993 for the role of Claire Kincaid, an assistant district attorney in the NBC crime drama Law & Order. The role lasted three seasons. The show ended after 1996.
